Pairing Your Marantz Remote Control (BD-1 vs. BD-2)

This Marantz remote can be paired with your Blu-ray player in two ways, identified by codes BD-1 and BD-2. By default, the remote comes set to BD-1.

This feature is useful if you have two different Marantz Blu-ray players in the same room. By assigning separate codes (BD-1 and BD-2) to each remote-player combination, you can control the desired player without affecting the other.

Switching Between BD-1 and BD-2:

• To switch the remote control code to BD-2, hold down the Stop button and the number 2 button simultaneously for more than five seconds.
• To switch the code back to BD-1, hold down the Stop button and the number 1 button simultaneously for more than five seconds.

Verifying the Code Setting:

• If your Blu-ray player and remote aren't communicating properly, the player's display might show the current code setting (BD-1 or BD-2).
• For example, if the player is set to BD-1 but the remote is set to BD-2, the display will show "BD-1" to indicate a mismatch.
